Apricot skies coming down,
Sheltering cockatoos,
Panoramic coloured frown,
Silhouette kangaroos.
Blue stripes with stunning pinks,
Racing and darting skinks,
Wildlife wandering around,
Feeding on dusty ground.
Magenta settings of chrome,
Hanging nicely in frame,
Marsupials freely roam,
Making purposeful claim.
Pineapple ribbons up there,
Studded with diamond ware,
Sparkling canopy so fair,
Beautiful artwork bare.
Custard trifles golden crown,
Over the drink don't drown,
Pastel shades tempering brown,
Squinted eyes stare with frown.
Creamy dreamy luscious paste,
Artist's palette full baste,
Spreading joy lacking haste,
Delivered without waste.
Nightfall has come once again,
Past the point to explain,
Time now to be safely home,
Finished with daylight dome.
