Dear God

Dear God,
How are You?
What do You see,
When You look down on me?

Dear Creator,
Thank You for making me,
For designing so intricately,
All the parts that make me, me.

Dear Counsellor,
Thank You for always listening,
Being there willingly as I walk many miles,
Especially through the darkest of trials.

Dear Provider,
You give and bless abundantly,
Always perfect in timing for me,
Help me always appreciate Your bounty.

Dear Sustainer,
My life is renewed daily as I rise,
While giving grateful thanks,
Upon the opening of my eyes.

Dear Healer,
It’s challenging living in a very sick world,
Understanding You allow this for now,
Your will be done, on bended knees I bow.

Dear Protector,
Marvellous are Your wings of protection,
Shielding me from harm and certain death,
Like the highest tower of strength.

Dear Comforter,
Your Presence is peace,
Your Helper provided to release,
My desire to sin so that I may overcome.

Dear Saviour,
Your sacrifice is more than I deserve,
Yet on my knees, profoundly accepted,
Help me show complete obedience to serve.

Dear Best Friend,
There is nowhere else I would rather be,
Just as Simon Peter said in John 6:68,
You are our life, You died to set us free.

Dear Confidant,
Create in me a clean heart,
Just like your servant David said,
Psalm 51 touched Your heart, help me do my part.

Dear Deliverer,
I pant in prayer like the deer at the water,
Seeking the eternal homeland with You,
Eagerly waiting while sighing and crying I do.

Dear God,
How are You?
What do You see,
When You look straight at me?
