O death, where is thy sting?

Death Monsters

Monsters of death,
Darkness descends,
Taking our breath,
Life here suspends.

Fleeting vapour,
Life is so fast,
Forevermore,
Far from the past.

This is for you,
This is for me,
We'll be made new,
Setting us free.

Every day,
Everything,
What people say,
What others bring.

The First World War,
Second World War,
Then Third World War,
Death sting no more.

Victory comes,
With King of kings,
Nations and tongues,
Salvation brings.

Waiting to meet,
All those before,
Superbly sweet,
End of all war.

This is for you,
This is for me,
Not just a few,
All will be free.

Oh death sans sting,
Open that door,
GOD does bring,
Forevermore.
