We have all had some extra time to prepare for what is ahead and coming in the next year. With elections in America looming, things are becoming more and more tense as each week passes. Not that we vote, but the result will affect the whole world. If ever there was a man who desired the best for his country it is definitely Mr. Donald Trump. Before I am accused of being political I will leave it there because God has placed this man in power and he could very well be the last “trump” before civil war breaks out. If we did take part in elections we would eagerly and readily give our vote to him as he cares, has strong ethics and morals, believes in God, actually prays and is not embarrassed to pray with his team at work, and has done so many good things for his country, especially the business sector. He is not perfect just as none of us is perfect.
Just a few items to mention that he has been instrumental in enforcing whilst in power, is the defunding of wicked Planned Parenthood abortions which involve the killing of so many innocent babies, bringing back Bibles into schools, donating his whole salary since his inauguration to various worthy causes, and he stands strong by refusing to be corrupted. Mr. Trump has his own money as he is a self-made man expert in the business world — I remember watching on TV “The Apprentice” many years ago before having a relationship with God. The insidious evil permeating America has not been able to bribe or coerce him whilst the devil is attempting to destroy him through the lies and shameless criminal activity by others, including politicians.
No matter what Mr. Trump does it is reported on the news as a bad thing — even when downplaying COVID-19 he is accused of not taking the pandemic seriously enough. Mr. Trump was concertedly making an effort to downplay this virus so as not to panic the masses — however we know many panicked by the awful behaviours exhibited in stores and supermarkets with people frenziedly knocking into others to buy toilet paper. People are crazy out there trying to control things that cannot be controlled unless we turn to God. Mr. Trump is the best thing that could happen to America in the opinion of thousands, and a fearless leader but the big question is, will he be re-elected, and if so, what will happen if he does hold power?
His life has been threatened many times. He remains alive to finish a job and we pray for him earnestly. All those who care, should. He is in power because God allows it. Make no mistake about it. Remember how shocked and astonished other political parties were when he got into power? Do we wonder why?! Because the fraudulent thought they had it rigged in their favour. God outrigged them because He wants Donald Trump as President of the USA for now. Once Trump leaves power the alternative will bring in the rapid destruction of a beautiful country and the people will be affected like never before. Many just don’t get it now as their eyes are greedily anticipating a socialist regime where they will get, rather than give back to their country. Many feel entitled but are not prepared to work or help others. Me, me, me, gimme, gimme, gimme — I want money and free stuff, and I want it now! So ugly!
For me that sums up what I see from a group of people who are determined to destroy the police and along with it law enforcement as well as societal norms by accepting anything goes such as homosexuality, homosexual marriage, gender dysphoria, LGBTQ perversions, Bible bashing, sexual abuse of young children - paedophilia, slavery, and all the rotten, vile, and filthy sinful behaviours one can think of, and way more besides this coming, that we cannot think of or even imagine at this juncture.
Presently what we are seeing can only be described as anarchy. Raw carnality influenced by the devil to indulge in sin because it feels good to display brattish behaviour. Every night on the news we see adults behaving badly on the streets “letting it rip” by carrying on in self-indulgent tantrums in order to get what they want — reminds me of infantile tantrums at age 2 or so that I witnessed many times in shops because these little ones can’t have their way! I guess now that they have grown up, some will still continue on in their despicable ways. Recently, one young person has actually said to me that they will keep on protesting until they get their way so that things will change, and they see protesting as a good thing, never mind how destructive some will be in order to achieve their goals. Their form of protesting is justified as passive however it is still rebellion. Their protesting efforts are selfishly rebellious despite this young person not recognising this as a bad thing. This is how perverted people have become — their thoughts are continually wicked! May God thwart this anarchy.
What have you achieved during 2020 where you have been given extra time because of staying home eliminating many hours of driving/travelling time to services, to work, to activities that have been suspended or stopped while this viral pandemic known as COVID-19 runs its course? Hopefully much more time to study and fine-tune your relationship with God. I have had the time to read my Bible more before heading off to work in the dining room during the week. Walking from one room to another made the journey so quick it shaved off at least an hour each way every day. So welcome and restful, free from road rage — yes, if you drive 60 in the 60 zone here people will road rage with their dangerous manoeuvres, causing one to brake hard as they flip flop from lane to lane weaving in and out without any indication in a fit of selfish rage. I really want to tell them...just leave home a few minutes earlier and all can be well. It’s not that hard people! I surely don’t miss the daily commute.
Getting back to the blessing of an increased studying time, my reading involved Proverbs and Psalms with a 1:5 ratio respectively in order to complete on a monthly cycle. As I read so many things jumped out or spoke to me rather deeply, especially the prayers from David to God when he was hunted by others such as the Philistines, his son Absalom, and King Saul. In fact there are a few that were so pertinent if I could give them to Mr. Trump, I would. However, he reads his Bible so I will pray instead that he finds these wonderfully heartfelt Psalms in order to pray like David. Perhaps he already feels an affinity to David...I really do not know. Here they are for you to see what I am writing about.
Psalm 56:1-6 “Be merciful to me, O God, for man would swallow me up; fighting all day he oppresses me. My enemies would hound me all day, for there are many who fight against me, O Most High. Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), in God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me? All day they twist my words; all their thoughts are against me for evil. They gather together, they hide, they mark my steps, when they lie in wait for my life”.
Psalm 31:13-15 “For I hear the slander of many; fear is on every side; while they take counsel together against me, they scheme to take away my life. But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me”.
Psalm 40:13-15 “Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me; O Lord, make haste to help me!
Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion who seek to destroy my life;
let them be driven backward and brought to dishonor who wish me evil. Let them be confounded because of their shame, who say to me, “Aha, aha!” Psalm 70 reads almost identical to Psalm 40.
Psalm 109:1-5 “Do not keep silent, O God of my praise! For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful have opened against me; they have spoken against me with a lying tongue. They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause. In return for my love they are my accusers, but I give myself to prayer. Thus they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love”.
Psalm 140:1-4 “Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men; preserve me from violent men,
who plan evil things in their hearts; they continually gather together for war. They sharpen their tongues like a serpent; the poison of asps is under their lips. Selah
Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men,
who have purposed to make my steps stumble. The proud have hidden a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set traps for me. Selah”.
Are these scriptures from Psalms not incredibly powerful and appropriate for the President of the United States Of America?! Let us consider 2 Thessalonians 2:7 (NASB version) "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way”. Could this prophecy for the end times have great relevance to the very days we are living in now and to the removal of Mr. Trump from his power under the Presidential banner and office of God “Make America Great Again”? Can we unite and pray thusly for Donald J. Trump on his behalf because we care what happens in and to America? I hope we can as it is a matter of life and death. May God help America and the English speaking nations who have been incredibly blessed because of Abraham’s faithfulness. Thousands of years ago God made a covenant with Abraham and has kept it (Genesis 17). It is timely for all peoples in all nations to wholeheartedly repent now before God’s blessings are completely removed. Will you humble yourself, listen to God, and show Him your obedience in living a righteously faithful and true life? You can!
