18 Barwell Street

Here We Are

All up to par,
Now here we are,
Travelled so far,
In Mazda car.

Weather was clear,
Nothing to fear,
No 'roos my dear,
Anywhere near.

Got it all done,
Boy it was fun,
Wasn't it Hun?
Pardon the pun.

Kitty came too,
He had no clue,
As good as new,
With me and you.

Hope it's the last,
Moving so fast,
Now it is past,
What a big blast!

Ageing with aches,
Muscles do quake,
Keeping awake,
For goodness sakes!

Stiff and sore,
Blisters are raw,
Try not to bore,
With any more.

Suffice to say,
This is the way,
More time to play,
Outdoors each day.

Now settling in,
Neat as a pin,
Roof made of tin,
That is a win.

On Barwell Street,
People do meet,
That's a sweet treat,
Pick up your feet.

Wednesday bin out,
Early about,
Never a doubt,
Give us a shout.

First Sabbath here,
Ready our gear,
Skies dark veneer,
Misty of tear.
