Kaleidoscope Reflections |

Gorgeous colours twirling by, Under a blue slice of sky, Lots of questions as to why, Called to know before I die. Turning this way and that, Holding cylinder carefully at, Where eyes see Ralph the cat, Russian Blue sleeping on mat. Happy Anniversary November wife, Fifteen years of Christian life, Years ten before betrothed as wife, Certain for sure of the afterlife. Kaleidoscope reflections are mine, Some are rough, some exquisitely fine, Nothing random between each line, Look at that red -- like Barossa wine. What has been seen, is now no more, Heart needed changing to its core, From the day You opened the door, Holding Your hand I keep asking more. You give and You give, While I live and I live, Learning mercy and to forgive, Holding it all without escaping the sieve. Time for testing, sifting, proving, All things to show faithful following, What will we see through the glass each morning, Dimly lit but yet still revealing. Revelations sounding thunderously loud, Horses riding swiftly through cloud, Not one waiting for change is proud, Desiring humility definitely allowed. Another fifteen like Hezekiah the King, Surely will not be given to sing, Until then obedience will bring, An abundant life upon tree swing… That is where I will watch the world unseen, Under the shelter of the trees of green, With a seat swinging high, swinging low, As I survey all the colours of the rainbow, Childish laughter in playful ways I go, Clutching tightly prisms of light, Delighting in Your Goodness day and night. | |||||||
