Overcome am I in need,
It's me, your beloved child indeed,
I come to You now for peace,
Let me have this blessed release.
Overcome with mixed emotions,
Always seeking Your solutions,
I come to You for intervention,
Please forgive my inattention.
Overcome am I in pain,
Will things ever be the same?
I come to You for grateful relief,
Restore according to my belief.
Overcome am I in solitude,
Needing an attitude of gratitude,
I come to You seeking comfort,
Hedged all around build support.
Overcome am I in crisis,
Wide open and no vices,
I come to You for direction,
Asking for great protection.
Overcome with decisions to make,
Wanting the best for my sake,
I come to You requesting patience,
Hoping for purifying fragrance.
Overcome with grateful emotion,
Desiring to give more devotion,
I come to give You worship and praise,
Blessings from You always amaze.
Overcome with joyous joy,
Despite the plight of avoirdupois,
I come willingly for correction,
That I might gain Your affection.
Overcome with brethren praying,
Beautiful goodness finely saying,
I come to You humbled ready to express,
My heartfelt appreciation for their success.
Overcome with spiritual messages,
Avoiding all forms of pagan images,
I come knowing this is tearfully expressed,
Father granted me my healing request.
