Storms Of Life

Storms come and go,

This we do know,
Fear when they grow,
Worry and woe.

Stormy warning skies,
Catching two green eyes,
Watching birdie flies,
Saying our goodbyes.

Storming sounds alarm,
Livestock on the farm,
Ground vibration harm,
Rumbling before calm.

Stormier black clouds,
Show dramatic shrouds,
Cumulonimbus crowds,
Adding drama endows.

Stormily severe,
Increases our fear,
Especially if near,
Waiting for the clear.

Storminess surrounds,
Amazement abounds,
Winds with gale force sounds,
Sweeping dusty grounds.

Stormiest at sea,
White waters tame me,
Land ho rather be,
Tempestuous flee.

Storm in a teacup,
Contained as grown up,
Come on Buttercup,
It's time to step up.

What turmoil or strife,
Comes our way in life,
Excessively rife,
Or cuts like a knife…

We can all agree,
One place of safety,
Sheltered on our knee,
Our God sets us free.

Isaiah 4:6,
Put into the mix,
Is the very best fix,
For spiritual picks.

Storms will come and go,
Havoc domino,
Wild audio show,
Gone with Master's blow.
